This project is a speculative cover story inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s Fallen Angels, shot around Chinatown with friends. It’s less about documenting a place and more about the feeling of being slightly disconnected, slightly tired, and pretending that means something profound.
I treated this as an editorial exercise. Sparse text, oversized imagery, and fragmented dialogue guide the pacing. The spreads are designed to feel overheard rather than explained, like flipping through a magazine at midnight and landing on something you weren’t meant to read closely.
